Palestinians: The Invisible Victims
Mondoweiss is excited to partner with the Arab American Institute to republish Jim Zogby's book Palestinians: The Invisible Victims.
First published in 1981, Palestinians: The Invisible Victims is a critical examination of the ideology and practice of the movement of Political Zionism and its patron, British imperialism, that together were responsible for the denial of Palestinian rights and the subsequent campaigns of disinformation and repression against the Palestinian people.
On the 70th anniversary of the Nabka, Palestinians: The Invisible Victims is just as timely now as when it was first published nearly 40 years ago. As Mitchell Plitnick writes in his review of the book for LobeLog: "It is a short book and makes no pretense to an exhaustive history or a complete review of then-contemporary conditions. It offers one idea, that the exclusivist vision of Political Zionism is incompatible with a lasting peace."
This 2018 edition of Palestinians: The Invisible Victims features an updated preface by Jim Zogby as well as a forward by Mondoweiss founder Philip Weiss.
